MY story

I have been active as a real estate investor since 2017 and have worked within our family ag business enterprise in the area of acquisition and economic development. I became licensed as a real estate agent in February of 2020 and began practicing full-time in September of 2020, selling $3.2 MM in real estate in my first 45 days. I then obtained my Brokers license in 2024. As a Fergus Falls resident and life-long seasonal resident of Otter Tail Lake, I am well acquainted with the area’s lakes and specialize in lakeshore property. In addition, serving formerly as a funeral director in Ashby, Battle Lake, Elbow Lake, Fergus Falls, and Hoffman, I have a high level of regional expertise. I am excited to help you find your next home.

I grew up on a family farm near Thief River Falls, MN, where I graduated high school. I attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND, graduating with a B.S. in Business Management in 2009 and a B.S. in Mortuary Science from the University of Minnesota in 2010. After working for a short time in East St. Paul and White Bear Lake, I joined the staff of Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls in 2011.

In my free time, I enjoy weekends at the family lake cabin on Ottertail Lake, golfing, flying, and as a talented musician, I enjoy playing the piano, organ and singing.

I am a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, Lakes Area Pilots Association, Fergus Falls chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association, the Lake Region Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors, and Greater Fergus Falls.

My wife Katie and I live in Fergus Falls and have three daughters, Ella, Violet, and Ivy.
